Does anybody know where does myelin basic protein (MBP)  gets 
phosphorylated in vitro kinase assay for MAPK . Does anybody know why 
MBP gets cleaved into 2 polypeptides when kept long time after kinase 
reaction?

I'm not sure if you mean a direct or indirect activator.  Moxham et al. 
(J Biol Chem 271: 30765-30773 (1996)) claim that insulin and anisomycin
activate PP-1 in skeletal muscle, acting through JNK.  They suggest that
the direct activator of PP-1 is the tandem kinase RSK3.
